Hi Brian, my friend and I are building a V twin steam engine and decided to build it with some brass castings. We have been searching the web for information on how to build a furnace and came across your site.I must admit your site was very informative and easy to understand. Many thanks. W. Turner.

Great site!!! My little brother is an electrical engineer.I have a degree in mechanical engineering technology.I am 53 and he is 47,but he will always be my lil bro....hehehehe.I think you have a great site. I was looking at the new arrival in your family and thinking back to the day our only child(daughter) was born in 1979. I have access to a small amount of 6061 AL and will try to use it in a small furnace for making moped pistons. I rebuild old mopeds and will soon have one running nitrous oxide. I'll send some picks early next year if all goes well. The standing record at the Salt Flats on a 50 cc moped is 35 mph. I think I can shatter that. Hey....."A Man Has Gotta Have a Dream".
